1. Its all about being there and documenting it with photos
2. Unless your an oracle, it requires you to read the news or at least know what is going on...and being there TO get it...after the fact doesnt sell well at all
3. Editorial images are usually news related-all kinds of news from people to politics to weather...destruction...accidents....hap
Most stock places take good editorial shots to sell..... Dreams Time which is here

I have gone and made this blog so that I can start fresh with my blabbering
and such.
Many of you have asked for an introduction and I suppose
that would be a good start...so here goes...
My name is Allyson and I live in the United States. I began fiddling with
photography almost 20 years ago using
an old 110 camera and photographing one of my favorite subjects, animals.
A budding amateur back then, I did it exclusively as a hobby and nothing
more.
As the years passed, my photo skills slowly (and i do mean painfully slowly)
improved. I purchased a 35mm Canon and began
using that. Roll after expensive roll my skills did improve then drastically
with the abilities of an interchangeable lens. I began showing off my creations
and displaying them at shows. I did win some slight awards, nothing
impressive but it helped me to dive deeper into this
art and I purchased another much more crisper Canon and I used it until I
broke it beyond repair.
At that time, I was actively and more thoroughly displaying my work,
comparing, receiving critiques and I even sold a few....so I got an
Olympus. I'm not a fan of Olympus and that relationship was short
lived....you can say I am a hardcore Canon fan and still am to this day.
Having the opportunities to travel extensively, I have photographed tens of
thousands of subjects and now....back home with my Canon-now digital-
I actively sell and help others with their photo obsessions.
In case your wondering what you can make by doing this, well that depends up
to the photographer- You.
First, you should purchase and know how to use the equipment. If you want my
recommendation, I will tell you what I tell everyone else- Go Canon.
Get yourself an inexpensive digital Canon with the interchangeable lenses. If
you have some cash to splurge, go for the Canon EOS 5D and learn
it....everything about it...
